My little Benjamin and I,
(who’s getting less little by the day, actually)
love spending quality time together.
I’m fascinated by his world:
Did you know that the best armor is forged from dragon scales? (and that the dragon always has a few gold coins on him – weird, isn’t it?)
I just want to reassure you that this dragon is actually a dragon in a game - it’s not one of his teachers... (But you never know, perhaps I’ll come across one some day...)
Beneath the stars
We also like having cartoon-drawing evenings – just the two of us -
it’s so awesome to huddle up on the sofa with a world-exclusive home-made shake and plenty of snacks (the unhealthier the better!)
We go off on daydreams with Japanese-style drawings, with others,
we bust a gut laughing or lose ourselves in our thoughts.
We often recall the best of these good times when we’re lying on our backs, staring at the imaginary stars on the ceiling! It’s like we’ve been through all sorts of adventures together.
I love my son,

And I feel so lucky to be able to spend this time with him.

Every time I see him, it makes me so happy,

in fact, I’m his number 1 fan ... God is a little like that with you...
My first "Oscar"
I showed my little family the animated story that I’d drawn.
(Ok, it was mostly the Moondog-animation studio that did it, but hey...)
I saw something in my child’s eyes
that shone brighter than any medal that the grown-ups of this world can make:
he was proud of me...
Seeing what he thought of the animation was a far more powerful image than even the highest definition picture on the big screen.
In my father’s Heart the jackpot signs lit up!
That’s what God (our Father in Heaven)

must feel when we’re proud of Him.

La gloire de papa

Avec mon petit Benjamin, 

(de moins en moins petit en fait)

on aime passer des moments de qualité ensemble. 

Son monde me passionne:

Saviez-vous qu'on forge les meilleures armures dans les écailles de dragon? (et qu'il a tj des pièces d'or sur lui: bizarre non?)

Bon, je vous rassure le dragon en question, n'est pas une prof de sa classe, mais bien dans un jeu... (Mais on ne sais jamais si j'en croise un...)

Sous les étoiles 

On aime aussi se faire des soirées dessins-animés rien que tous les deux,

Notre kiff c'est d'être calé sur le fauteuil avec une boisson maison improvisée et des trucs à grignoter (plus c'est malsain, plus on aime!)

On s'est fait rêver la tête avec des animations japonaises,

puis rire aux éclats avec d'autres et plonger dans des réflexions.

On en reparle souvent des meilleurs moments tous deux couchés sur le dos en fixant les étoiles imaginaires du plafond! un peu comme si on avait vécu toutes ses aventures ensemble.

J'aime mon fils,

je me sens privilégié d'avoir ce temps avec lui.

chaque fois que je le vois, je me réjouis vraiment,

en fait, je suis son plus grand fan ...

Dieu c'est un peu pareil avec toi...

Mon premier "oscar"

J'ai montré à toute ma petite famille les dessins animés dont j'étais l' « auteur ». 

(Ok, c'est surtout le studio Moondog-animation qu'a fait, mais bon...)

J'ai vu quelque chose dans le regard de mon petit qui brillait plus fort que la médaille d'honneur des grands de ce monde:

il était fier de moi...

Le reflet du dessin animé dans ses yeux était tellement plus beau que tous les écrans HD. Mon Cœur de petit papa a eu un silencieux bruit de jackpot! 

C'est ce que Dieu (notre Père céleste)

doit ressentir lorsqu'on est fier de Lui.

Papa aime être avec toi...

Caprice festival déception
Nous avons réussi à être 4ème (ils en prenaient 5!) 
 
Mais au moment de la remise de notre prix,
aucun des 5 premiers n'a été sélectionné!
Les organisateurs nous ont informé (alors seulement!), que les votes du public n'ont que la valeur d'une personne sur un jury de 6.
 
Bref, on n'a pas été pris pour ce concours, ok
mais grâce à ce formidable résultat obtenu (plus de 700 votes!)
on sait qu'on n'est pas tout seul à l'avenir, mais que vous êtes derrière nous
merci pour ça...
 
Valence
le jour avant mon spectacle, j'étais K.O. par la maladie
mais le lendemain, j'étais debout sur scène... merci d'avoir pensé à moi

No, my comic does touch the American youth!

I saw it during my trip to Mississippi

 

Advertising?

The comic was available on a shelf somewhere in the USA,

But who knew it…?!

I had to do my own advertising there….

They said they could do my advertising if I

Had paid 10,000 $ cash!

(well, I’m already suffering for getting a small salary sometimes…so, as strange as it appears to be, I said no!)

I tried many things starting by ‘’we could just…’’

But …(anyway…)

In fact: no marketing, no advertising: no fruits!

 

Tomatoes defeat!

All this looks like my small tomatoes on my porch,

I didn’t take care of them and now,

Even though I tried to save some of them, it’s all damned…

The USA is a good ‘’market’’, OK (even for those tomatoes)

It could help me to take off from my survival condition

But there is something else for me,

I feel that I stole something from them in Heaven

 

Restart?

Then, I felt on my knees,

I replant those poor sick fruits

With a sincerely love and then I

Prayed for this huge country

(It actually needs prayers, whatever we say about it)

The biggest tree on Earth

Was first a small act of faith,

Just a little seed of madness,

Which hasn’t been despised

Non, ma bd touche les jeunes américain!
je l'ai vu lors de mon passage au Mississippi,
 
Pub?
La BD était dispo sur une étagère quelque par aux USA,
mais qui le savait...?!
la pub c'étais à moi de la faire...
 
On m'a proposé de m'y faire de la pub
si je payais cash dix mille dollars!
(heuu... J'ai déjà peine à recevoir un petit salaire de temps en temps alors... C bizarre mais là, j'ai dit non)
j'ai essayé alors plusieurs plans qui tous commençaient par:
- « yaka...» mais bon... (je me sens bien seul là)...
Bref: pas de marketing, pas de pub: pas de fruits.
 
Défaite des tomates
Tous ça, ressemble à mes petites tomates devant l'entrée,
je n'ai pas su m'en occuper et maintenant,
J'ai beau essayer de sauver ce que je peux, elles sont toutes mal foutues...
Les USA c'est "marché" intéressant, ok (même pour des tomates),
Il pourrait m'aider à sortir du mode « survie »
mais pour moi, il y a plus,
je sent que j'ai quelque chose que j'ai piqué au ciel pour eux
(+ qu'une pizza au étoile...)
 
Recommencement?
Alors voilà, je suis tombé sur mes genoux,
j'ai replanté ces petits fruits malades
avec un amour que j'espère le plus sincère possible
et j'ai prié pour ce grand pays
(qui, quoi qu'on en dise, en a tellement besoin...)
 
Le plus grand arbre en ce monde
à d'abord été un petit acte de foi,
à peine un grain de folie,
qui n'a pas été méprisé.

The offense

I understand quite quickly

When I’m taught for a long time…


A friend of mine made fun of this failing,

In front of my children and my trainees.

While he was laughing out loud,

I was feeling really humiliated…
The second swipe

As a ‘’good Christian’’ I told to myself:

-« Well…anyway, I shut up and forget it. »
But Jesus does not have this opinion:

-« If anyone slaps you on the right cheek,

turn to them the other cheek also. » (Mat 5 :39)
Thereby, I can’t ’’forget’’, but return and tell him:

-« Hey, you hurt me! »

If he is ‘’regular’’, he will justify himself:

-« OK, but it’s not only my fault, but also yours! (or the society’s one),

I had the right to say it, and blabla… »

And for me, this will be similar to THE 2nd SWIPE!
Slap!

I went back to my friend and…

amazing, he asked for forgiveness without slapping me!

That kind of friend is pretty rare (conserve it preciously)
A real super hero

Is someone stronger than himself
An old musician of Saahsal

went to meet one of my friends, knocked at the door and,

almost crying, humbly asked for forgiveness because he had criticized him,

and this even if his friend didn’t know it.
In general, people ask for forgiveness 

ONLY if they are caught! ( ?!)
This last testimony

impressed me even more than

the one I met one evening

and he had brought back to life many dead people! (seriously!)
Since then, I have for this friend an immense regard in my heart. (even if I have never told him)
The value of a human being

It is not the big biblical knowledge,

nor the titles (former, priest, chair coordinator for the left aisle, or big choucroute cook for the apostle of the last days)

nor the accomplished miracles,

nor the talent of sanctimonious to the ‘’inferior beeings’’ (which are ‘’the others’’)

which determines the spiritual level of someone,

unfortunately it is often a religious varnish behind we hide…

But his ability to repent and face his wrongs and change.
The size of a man is the size of his own humility.

L'offense
Je comprends vite
quand on m'explique longtemps...
 
Un ami s'est moqué de ce travers qui m'est propre,
devant mes enfants et mes stagiaires.
Alors qu'il riait seul à s'en tordre les boyaux,
je me sentais super humilié...
 
 
La 2ème baffe
En "bon chrétien" je me dis :
- "Bah... je m'écrase et j'oublie."
 
Mais Jésus n'est pas cet avis :
- "Si quelqu'un te frappe sur la joue droite,
présente-lui aussi l'autre." (Mat 5:39)
 
Ainsi, je ne dois pas "oublier", mais retourner
et lui dire :
- "Tu m'as fait du mal !"
S'il est normal, il se justifiera :
- " OK, mais ce n'est pas que ma faute,
mais aussi la tienne ! (ou celle de la société),
j'ai eu raison de le faire, bla bla bla..."

Ce genre d'ami est rare (à conserver précieusement).
 
 
Un vrai super héros
c'est quelqu'un plus fort que lui-même
 
Un ancien musicien de Saahsal
alla voir un de mes amis, il sonna à sa porte
et les larmes aux yeux, il lui demanda humblement pardon de l'avoir critiqué,
et cela même que cet ami n'avait pas été mis au courant,
 
Pourtant les gens ne demandent pardon
QUE s'ils se font prendre! (?!)
 
Ce dernier témoignage
m'a impressionné plus encore que
celui de ce chrétien que j'ai rencontré un soir
qui, lui, avait ressuscité plusieurs morts ! (sérieux!)
 
Depuis, j'ai pour cet ami une immense estime dans mon coeur.
(même si je ne lui ai jamais dit)
 
La valeur d'un homme
Ce ne sont ni
les grandes connaissances bibliques,
ni les titres (d'ancien, d'évêque, d'éminent responsable des chaises alignées dans l'allée de gauche, ou de grand mufti de la choucroute garnie des apôtres des derniers jours)
ni les miracles accomplis,
ni le talent de moralisateur auprès des «êtres inférieurs» (c.a.d. : « les autres »)
qui font le niveau spirituel d'une personne,
malheureusement, ce ne sont souvent là, qu'un vernis religieux derrière lequel on se cache...
Mais bien sa qualité de repentance à reconnaître ses torts
et à changer.
 
 
Ce qui fait la grandeur d'un homme,
c'est son humilité.

I understand quite quickly

A friend of mine made fun of this failing,

In front of my children and my trainees.

While he was laughing out loud,

I was feeling really humiliated…
The second swipe

As a ‘’good Christian’’ I told to myself:

-« Well…anyway, I shut up and forget it. »
But Jesus does not have this opinion:

-« If anyone slaps you on the right cheek,

turn to them the other cheek also. » (Mat 5 :39)
Thereby, I can’t ’’forget’’, but return and tell him:

-« Hey, you hurt me! »

If he is ‘’regular’’, he will justify himself:

-« OK, but it’s not only my fault, but also yours! (or the society’s one),

I had the right to say it, and blabla… »

And for me, this will be similar to THE 2nd SWIPE!
Slap!

I went back to my friend and…

amazing, he asked for forgiveness without slapping me!

That kind of friend is pretty rare (conserve it preciously)
A real super hero

Is someone stronger than himself
An old musician of Saahsal

went to meet one of my friends, knocked at the door and,

almost crying, humbly asked for forgiveness because he had criticized him,

and this even if his friend didn’t know it.
In general, people ask for forgiveness 

ONLY if they are caught! ( ?!)
This last testimony

impressed me even more than

the one I met one evening

and he had brought back to life many dead people! (seriously!)
Since then, I have for this friend an immense regard in my heart. (even if I have never told him)
The value of a human being

It is not the big biblical knowledge,

nor the titles (former, priest, chair coordinator for the left aisle, or big choucroute cook for the apostle of the last days)

nor the accomplished miracles,

nor the talent of sanctimonious to the ‘’inferior beeings’’ (which are ‘’the others’’)

which determines the spiritual level of someone,

unfortunately it is often a religious varnish behind we hide…

But his ability to repent and face his wrongs and change.
The size of a man is the size of his own humility.

The weed

I’m on my knees in the garden,

Oicking out the weed,

I pray.

To speak truly, the ‘’weed’’ 

does not exist

All the things God has created is good. *1

Almost like all our activities…

For exemple: the nettle
- if it picks you, it’s good for the blood
- having a bath with it is good for rheumatism
- eating it is good in the salad
- even the ground is purified by it… (crazy!)

 

The gardener’s plan

It’s fair that every weed steals some energy to the plant I want to see growing

It’s the same thing during your days,

Too many activities prevent you to take care of ONE particular project the divine gardener planted….

Thereby, on the collect day, there might be few fruits…

 

The priority?

Well, for me,

The first thing I do is going into the forest seeking God

I’m strange, no? My own fruit will be original then…

 

The walnut

Fredo, a friend of mine, has a little swimming-pool behind his house.

While I’m looking at it, I saw a walnut

 

-       “Alain, do you know we have to wait for 20 years before receiving fruits from it?”

My friend’s speech brought me into a deep well of thoughts, and the water starts recovering my eyes… (20 years!?! P#*&!!)

Thereby, God conceived projects whose fruits will only be seen after a long, very long time and this is normal…!

 

The nut

This fruit is very beneficial for the heart (it reduces up to 50% of the cardiovascular risks)
 

Your tree

Continue gardening, take out the pride (smothers life; source of every argument)

 

And the rocks (non-fructuous hardness of the heart)

Continue questioning yourself, water your prayers, light with patience, love and care,

With a positive faith this tree which is your child, your family, your couple, your church, your projects if you don’t see the fruits yet.

There will probably be a precious walnut who will heal hearts.

La « mauvaise » herbe 
Je suis à genoux dans mon jardin,
tout en enlevant les mauvaises herbes, je prie.
En vérité, les « mauvaises herbes » n'existent pas, 
Tout ce que Dieu a  créé est bon.*1
 
Un peu comme la plupart de nos activités...

Exemple: l'ortie
- si elle te pique, c'est bon pour le sang,
- s'en faire un bain, bon pour le rhumatisme,
- la manger, c'est bon pour la salade,
- même la terre ou elle pousse est purifié par elle, etc...(dingue!)
 
 
Le plan du Jardinier
C'est juste que chacune de ses herbes vole de l'énergie
à la plante que je désire vraiment voir grandir.
Pareil dans tes journées,
trop d'activités t'empêchent de t'occuper D'UN projet en particulier
que le divin jardinier a planté...
Ainsi, le jour de la récolte, il risque d'y avoir peu de fruits...
 
La priorité?
Bin moi,
la première chose que je fais, c'est partir dans la forêt chercher Dieu
je suis bizarre hein? Mon fruit n'en sera que plus original (et vlan dans les dents!)
 
Le noyer
Mon ami Fredo a une petite piscine derrière sa maison.
En m'approchant d'elle, j'ai une terrible surprise : un noyer!
Mais je vous rassure, il s'agit de l'arbre.
- "Alain, sais-tu qu'il faut attendre 20 ans avant d'avoir des fruits?"
La parole de mon ami me plonge si profond dans un puits de réflexions que l'eau m'en remonte aux yeux...(20 ans!?! p#*&!!)
Ainsi donc, Dieu a conçu des projets qui porteront des fruits qu'après un long,
très long temps et c'est normal...!
 
Un fruit à la noix
Ce fruit est bénéfique pour le cœur
(il réduit jusqu'à 50% les risques cardiovasculaires)
 
 
 
Ton arbre
Continue de travailler la terre, d'enlever l'orgueil
(étouffeur de vie : source de toute les disputes),
et les cailloux (dureté infructueuse du cœur,)
Continue de te remettre en question,
d'arroser de prières,
d'ensoleiller patiemment d'amour et d'attention,
d'une foi positive cet arbre qu'est ton enfant, ta famille, ton couple, ton église, tes projets si tu ne vois pas encore de fruits
Il se pourrait bien que tu aies un précieux noyer qui guérira les cœurs.

juste après mon réveil et juste avant mon travail (j'ai pris des dessins à faire et voyez, même ici, je pense à vous...).

Le Seigneur ma conduit sur des ronpoinds
que les gens  ne voient plus (le stress produit ce genre de cécité) et j'ai observé les plantes de très près. Et là, j'ai trouvé mon maître! Le créateur est vraiment le plus grand des artistes et nous autres les "artistes" de pâle copieurs, mais parfois sans en avoir conscience ses plus grands admirateur.

Je n'ai que mon mobile, et je sais pas encore mettre des photo,Dsl mais dès que je trouve un ordi dans le coin, je mis colle (halala un portable ça serait plus simple)
